About Alpine Enclosure Systems

Structural steel screen walls and enclosures for industrial and commercial sites. Custom fabricated for any enclosure design. Engineered to ASCE 7-22 for your site.

Who we are

Who is Alpine Enclosure Systems?

Alpine Enclosure Systems is a division of Alpine International Trading Co. We design and supply structural steel enclosures and screen walls for industrial and commercial sites, from trash and tire storage enclosures to mechanical, generator and utility screening. Our product line is Alpine Citadel, and every project is engineered for its own site to ASCE 7-22.

What makes Alpine different?

Two things: structural steel and engineering on every project. Many enclosure products are sold as catalog panels in aluminum, vinyl, plastic or light-gauge metal, with engineering left to the buyer. Alpine delivers the enclosure and its engineering package together: designed to ASCE 7-22, with sealed calculations in all 50 states and an engineering package in under one week.

The product

What is Alpine Citadel?

Alpine Citadel is our structural steel enclosure system: 4 in square structural steel posts and 8 in round gate posts on ¾ in hot-dip galvanized base plates, solid steel slats that slide in captive for a 100% opaque face, and heavy-duty double-leaf gates. Standard heights are 6, 7 and 8 ft; custom, 5 to 10 ft.

How we work

How does Alpine work with a project team?

We start from your drawing. Alpine solves the layout to the architect's dimensions, applies the site's wind speed, exposure and risk category, and delivers the engineering package in under one week. The submittal package follows for the architect and building department, and each enclosure then ships as one kit, tagged by bay, ready to install in typically 1–2 days.

Track record

What has Alpine built?

Alpine has 70+ locations installed, including 60+ for a multi-state tire and automotive service brand, its largest program to date. Each location received its own layout and engineering, and each enclosure shipped as one kit. We describe programs without naming clients, and we publish only project figures we can support.

What does Alpine not claim?

We publish what we can back up. Alpine Citadel is a structural steel screening and enclosure system. We do not claim approvals or certifications that have not been issued, and a slatted screen is not a noise barrier or a fire barrier. Where a code names masonry, we provide an alternate-materials submittal instead of assuming approval.

About Alpine

Who owns Alpine Enclosure Systems?
Alpine Enclosure Systems is a division of Alpine International Trading Co. The division focuses on one product family, Alpine Citadel structural steel enclosures and screen walls, and supports it with project engineering to ASCE 7-22 and sealed calculations available in all 50 states. Contracts and invoices carry the legal name, Alpine International Trading Co.
Is Alpine Citadel related to other products with a similar name?
No. Alpine Citadel is the structural steel enclosure and screen wall system from Alpine Enclosure Systems, and it is always named with "Alpine". When you specify it, write "Alpine Citadel, Alpine Enclosure Systems" as the basis of design so the product, the engineering and the submittal all point to the same supplier.
What kinds of customers does Alpine work with?
Alpine works with architects and engineers who specify enclosures, general contractors who build them, owners and facilities teams who maintain them, and brand construction teams running multi-site rollouts. The common thread is a site that needs a structural steel enclosure or screen wall engineered for its location, from a single enclosure to a national program.
Where does Alpine supply enclosures?
Alpine supplies projects across the United States. Sealed calculations are available in all 50 states, every project is checked for its own wind speed, exposure and risk category, and multi-site programs get one price nationwide. Each enclosure ships as one kit with a packing list and layout drawing for the local installer.
How do I contact Alpine Enclosure Systems?
Use the request-a-quote form to send a drawing, a prototype detail or a sketch, or to ask for downloads. You can also reach us at alpineenclosures.com. For programs, include the prototype detail and the number of sites, and we will respond with a layout and engineering plan.
